Return Policy

HomePlunge products are built to the highest standards. If your chiller arrives non-functional, we want to make it right. Please read our return policy carefully before initiating a return.

Return Eligibility

  • Return Window: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Eligible Condition: Returns are only accepted for units that are shipped non-functional (i.e., the unit does not operate upon arrival).
  • Replacement First: Before processing a return, HomePlunge will first offer a replacement unit. If you prefer a refund, please indicate this when contacting support.
  • Not Eligible: Units that are functional but not meeting personal expectations, units damaged due to misuse, or units not in their original condition are not eligible for return.

Return Conditions

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned products to cover processing, inspection, testing, and recertification costs.
  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. The product must be returned in its original packaging to protect it during transit.
  • Original Packaging Required: Returns received without original packaging may be refused or subject to additional fees.

Initiating a Return

To begin the return process, contact our Customer Support Team at info@thehomeplunge.com. Our team will provide return authorization and detailed shipping instructions. Do not ship your unit back without first receiving authorization.

Inspection & Refund Processing

  • Inspection: Once we receive your return, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets our return eligibility criteria.
  • Processing Time: Allow 7–10 business days from the date we receive the returned unit for your refund to be processed.
  • Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Exceptions

  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modification are not eligible for return or refund.
  • If the system is confirmed to be performing as intended, refund requests will be denied.
  • In rare circumstances outside of the customer’s control, exceptions may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Warranty

HomePlunge products are covered by a separate 1-Year Limited Warranty. Warranty claims (for units that fail after delivery) are handled differently from returns. Please refer to our Warranty Policy for full details.
