We are not going to tell you this improves your sleep.
You clicked sleep, so you deserve a straight answer about the evidence before anyone shows you a price. The honest version is that it is thin.
The 2025 PLOS One review of cold water immersion pooled 11 randomised controlled trials across 3,177 healthy adults. Exactly one of those trials measured sleep.
That single study reported better sleep quality, P = 0.04. It used male participants only, and it sat inside a heat-training protocol rather than an ordinary evening routine.
One trial, one population, one context. That is a reason to keep watching the research. It is not a reason to buy a machine, and we are not going to dress it up as one. The review's own authors concluded that more robust evidence is required to validate the purported health benefits of cold water immersion.
